Here are all the details about next week’s Rotary Club shredding event.
All of us were affected by the COVID-19 shutdown, but most people don’t realize that the shutdown affected a lot of great local nonprofit groups as well. One of the organizations working hard to help is the Rotary Club of Stanwood/Camano, of which I’m a member. We put on regular shredding events to help support local projects such as Coats for Kids, our community food bank, and Imagination Library. Our next event is right around the corner on June 23.
The money raised also helps support Rotary International’s efforts to eradicate polio, improve maternal and child health, provide clean water, improve sanitation, literacy, education, and more. Come help support an important mission by bringing any documents you need to be shredded to the Washington Federal Bank parking lot in Stanwood (9025 271st St.) on Wednesday, June 23 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The suggested donation is $20 per bag or box or $500 per truckload if you’re a business. There’s no limit to how much you can bring.
If you have any questions for us, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
