Here’s my best advice for helping homebuyers win in a competitive market.

Record-low inventory in our real estate market has caused houses to sit not for months, not for weeks, but just a matter of a few days. How are buyers able to succeed in such a fast-moving market? Here’s what you need to do to be successful if you’re thinking of buying a home in this market:

1. Work with a skilled professional. If you listen to your Realtor wholeheartedly and take their guidance, you will get the job done.

“The process will be worth it if you keep the faith and follow these tips.”

2. Be aggressive. Many are willing to do things to get homes that they normally wouldn’t do and that we normally wouldn’t recommend. However, waiving contingencies or doing a rent-back agreement are the types of things you’ll need to do to get your offer accepted.

3. Be resilient. Don’t get down just because an offer wasn’t accepted, and don’t give up. You’ll need to write multiple offers on multiple homes in order to get one accepted. Prices have gone up significantly and buyers are buying into low rates that we’ve never seen before. It will be worth it if you keep the faith and follow all of these tips.

If you have any questions for me about buying a home or real estate in general, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
